بدء منذ قليل النجم محمد امام تصوير المشاهد الاولي من اضخم مشروعاته السينمائية فيلم “شمس الزناتي ٢” وجاء ذلك التصوير بعد فتره من التحضيرات والاستعدادات الأولية للعمل والوقوف علي كافة التفاصيل حتي يتم الانتهاء من التصوير ويكون جاهزا للعرض بالسينمات للجمهور .
ويُعد العمل الجديد امتدادًا للفيلم الأصلي الذي قدمه الزعيم عادل إمام عام 1991، والمستوحى من قصة “العظماء السبعة” أو “الساموراي السبعة”، والتي قُدمت في أكثر من دولة من بينها الولايات المتحدة واليابان.
